New FDA regulations have caused certain drugs to require a prescription, or veterinary feed directive (VFD), for use as of January 1, 2017. For your reference, here is a list of drugs that have transitioned from over-the-counter (OTC) status to prescription (Rx) status and a list of drugs that have transitioned from OTC status to veterinary feed directive (VFD) status.
We have been working to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone. We will be able to continue supplying our customers with these products through our new pharmacy, VPSI Pharmacy.
